

Karin (Roivas) Eppert, age 73, of Upper Arlington, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 with her family by her side following a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born August 28, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leo and Bonnie (Brower) Roivas. Karin was a 1960 graduate of Columbus West High School, where she graduated with honors, was involved in athletics and was a varsity cheerleader. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 54 years, Don; her sons and daughters-in-law, Mark (Mary) of Atlanta, GA, Steve (Kristin) and Jason (Debbi), all of Columbus; her adored grandchildren, Lauren, Monica, Kyle, Brooke, Preston and Vivienne Eppert; Also survived by her brother Kenneth Roivas, of Mich. and many close friends. Karin was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the YMCA in Grove City. She loved gardening, tending to her flowers and bird watching. Karin also cared about exercise and staying fit. Friends may call 2-5 pm Sunday at TRINITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1581 Cambridge Blvd. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm Monday at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High St, Worthington. Private interment Sunset Cemetery at a later date.
