Karl Edgar Schneider

Karl Edgar Schneider, age 68, of Grove City, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015. A life-long resident of Grove City, he was born June 17, 1946 to the late Betty Jane (Larrick) and Edgar P. Schneider; also preceded in death by his step-mother Margy Schneider and mother-in-law Hazel Walls. Karl was a 1964 graduate of Grove City High School and as a young man was an active member of the Salem Heights MYF as well as Boy Scouts of America. Karl was a retired welder with Wasserstrom and SandG Metals and was a member of the Bill Moose Muzzle Loading Gun Club. He enjoyed riding his Honda Goldwing and traveling with his wife. He loved any opportunity to be outdoors or spending time with his grandchildren. Karl is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diana; daughters Karen (Rob) Norris and Kristy Schneider; grandchildren, Jacob, Kylee, Keara, Logan and Caden; sister Kathy Renick of Reynoldsburg; brother Neil (Denise) Schneider of Grove City and several special nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday, January 16, 2015 at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral Service will be held at 10am Saturday at Faith Community Church of God (formerly Salem Heights Church) located at the corner of Alkire and Demorest; Jim Kensey will officiate; interment to follow in Grove City Cemetery.
