Katherine M. Boos

Katherine M. “Katie” Boos, age 87, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Elm Creek Nursing Home in West Carrollton, Ohio. Katie was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church; the Grove City Garden Club; and the CCL Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Boos; parents, Thomas and Mary (Holer) Habiyanec; and sister, Mary Ray. She is survived by her son, Tom (Lorraine) Boos; daughter, Marsha (Tom) Lloyd; grandchildren, Todd (Lia), Darrel, Jill (Troy), Cathy (Mike) and Tracey; great-grandchildren, Alicia, Brandon, Chandler, Kate, Amy, Shelby, Brandon, and Brooklyn; sister, Helen (Stan) Kuhn; several nieces and nephews including niece and caregiver, Jan (Rick) Martin. A celebration of her life will be held with a visitation 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 7 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City and one hour prior to the funeral service at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St., Grove City, 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 8 . Pastor Don Allman officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
