Kathleen Shannon Morris

Kathy was born on February 4, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Converse Griffith and Jeanne Fair. Kathy was Director of Nursing Practice for the Ohio Nurses Association and Continuing Education Coordinator for MODNA until her retirement from The Ohio Nurses Association after a 49-year career in nursing. She loved her paisley prints, decaf coffee, dark chocolate, dolls and reading books daily. One of her favorite activities was going every summer to Pike Lake State Park with her children, sister Wendy, and niece and nephew.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her stepmother, Constance Griffith; her stepfather, Roscoe “Gib” Fair; and father-in-law, John Morris.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband, Andrew Morris; her children, Shannon (Robert) Brown and Aaron Morris; her grandchildren, Andrew, Kennedy, and Eli; her brothers, Michael, Lance, and Mac; her sisters, Shelly, Tracy, Wendy, Lee, and Clair; and many other relatives and friends.

Family will accept friends for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Advantage by Schoedinger North, 5554 Karl Rd, Columbus.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in her honor. Kathy was a great wife, mother, grandmother, sister, nurse, and friend to all that knew her. She will be forever missed.
