Kathryn Elaine Hicks

Kathryn Elaine Hicks, born August 31, 1939, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Darryl K. Hicks, her mother Edna Grace Sack, father Elmer Sack, sisters Joyce Bernard and Norma Javorich, and brother Ralph Sack.

Kathryn was a proud graduate of Conneaut High School. She dedicated much of her career serving as an office manager, where she was known for her exemplary work ethic, exceptional organizational skills and kind spirit.

Throughout her life, Kathryn called both Conneaut, Ohio, and Vero Beach, Florida, home, cherishing the memories and friendships she made in both communities.

She leaves behind her two devoted sons, Craig A. Hicks and his wife Sheila, and Brian K. Hicks and his wife Kathlene. Kathryn is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Logan, Ariel, Chelsea, Hannah, and Jacob, and several great-grandchildren. She will be remembered fondly for her unwavering love and dedication to her family and friends.

Kathryn had a deep love for music and enjoyed relaxing with a cold Coors Light, always getting “three pours” from every can! Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Memorial services will be held on August 31, 2024, from 11 AM-1 PM at Aykock Funeral Home, 6026 US-1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946. A separate celebration of life will be held in Conneaut, OH on September 14.
