Kathryn McLane, 90 of Columbus, died Friday, August 23, 2013. She was born October 1, 1922 in Cheviot, OH to the late Linden and Lucille (McAfee) Herzer. She was a graduate of Western Hills High School and attended Business College, becoming a longtime legal secretary to Judge Clayton W. Rose, Jr. She was a member of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus, the Legal Secretary Organization and an avid art collector. She enjoyed square dancing, round dancing and camping. To all who knew her, she was adored and very sociable. She is survived by her sister Jane Carlton, children Bill (Rose) Young, Page (Susan Siens) McLane, Chris Sullivan, Jay (Sheri) McLane and Michelle (Chris) Pandolfo, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 2 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to a Charity of Choice.
