Kathryn "Kathy" P. Thomas

Preceded in death by her parents, Hugh “Pete” and Jennie (Shank) Thomas. Survived by many friends and special furry critters, Lucy and Sally. Graduate of Marion Franklin H.S. and Ohio State Univ. Retired Columbus elementary teacher at Stockbridge and Berwick Alternative. Field trip teacher for U.S. Skates. Member of Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio, and National Education Assn. Retired; Gamma Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma; National Science Teachers Assoc.; Science Education Council of Ohio; Veterans of Battle of the Bulge; Washington Ave. U.M. Church. Special thanks to the ICU and hospice staff at Grant.

Friends may call Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 E. State St., Columbus, where the funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery.
