

Kenneth A. Huff, age 29, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011 at home in the arms of his loving wife and surrounded by family. He was born in Kingsport, TN on December 6, 1981 to Kenneth and Carmen Huff. Kenneth earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in music education from the Ohio State University in 2004, where he nurtured his love of the trombone. As the band director at West Jefferson Schools from 2005 to 2008 he cared deeply for his students. Throughout his life, he was an avid sports fan and regularly attended music and theater productions. Above all else, he had a deep love for his family, who enjoyed his great sense of humor and gentle spirit. Although the song has ended, the melody lingers on… Kenneth is preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene (Jewell) Huff, and John Humbert. He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Melissa; parents, Kenneth (Carmen) Huff; grandmother, Lorene Humbert; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call from 5-8 pm, Thursday, September 29, 2011, and 1-2 pm, Friday, September 30, 2001 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm immediately following the calling hours.
