I am deeply saddened to learn of Ken's death. I remember fondly my days in the early mornings with Ken at the old A/R Desk at Larkins starting in 1994 . I enjoyed so much listening to Ken's stories about the trials and tribulations of life and what he endured along the way to becoming the great man that he was. I learned just as much from Ken as I did from any of school books or lecture halls while at OSU, a great testament to Ken. I can see him now, dunking his vending machine cookies into his morning black coffee, telling me of his war stories, past jobs etc. Thank you Ken. You gave so much to the University and to people like me. Now you get a well deserved rest, but we all know you won't take it!

Liz's kind remarks below are similar to mind.  It was always Great talking with Ken -- what an outgoing, enthusiastic and fun person who cared very deeply for all his students and co-workers.  Ken was always interested in you as a person and was always asking engaging question -- his thirst for knowledge kept him young for all these years.  We will miss Ken at Recreational Sports -- his engaging smile, his bushy eyebrows, and his wonderful sense of humor.  Fred Beekman now has another friend in heaven.

Having worked with Ken for so many years at Ohio State in The Department of Recreational Sports, I knew him as a kind, engaging, interesting, and passionate man.  He was part of the Rec Sports Family and we all miss him.  His family is in our thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for sharing him with us for so many years.

I worked with Ken at OSU Dept. of Recreational Sports.  He was affectionately known as the "Mayor" of Larkins Hall, and then of the new RPAC.  He deeply cared about the students he worked with and always wanted to give the best service he could.  He liked to talk about his children and his playing in the band.  We could never guess how old he really was, because he was always so full of life and energy.  We will all miss him.

I remember first meeting Ken at Unity on Maize Road he was greeter and showed us around the building. He was a bright shining light and great example of acceptance and humility. We went back off an on and he was always friendly and engaging. When we later re-connected at Unity of Delaware it was again a positive and great experience. He is missed and will be fondly thought of. He becomes a part of a growing number of elder brothers who have touched my life. To a better life. Namaste'

I, too, remember the first time i ever met Ken Wing. It was as I entered the Unity Church on Maize Road for the first time, in the late 1990's. Ken reached out, warmly shook my hand, and welcomed me. His kindness never changed. He was always quick with a greeting and a smile. God has gained a very good greeter.

Ken was always so friendly and helpful.  I listened to his stories about the students at the place he worked at OSU.  He was a fixture at the Unity Church on Maize Road and later at the Delaware Unity.  Diane Palliser
