Kevin Gregory Murdock

Kevin Gregory Murdock, age 40 of Upper Arlington, died peacefully after a valiant struggle with cancer, Sunday January 3, 2016 at The Ross Heart Hospital. Kevin is survived by his wife Jessica Murdock, his loving parents, Jack and Judy Murdock of Pickerington; brother Brad (Jennifer) Murdock of Charlotte NC; sisters: Dr. Laura (Dr. James) Lindsey of Russellville AL, Megan (Todd Mathurin) of Naples FL; nieces and nephews: Riley, Owen and Darby Murdock, Jackson Lindsey, Taylor and Lexi Mathurn; In-laws Steve and Mary Roeder; brother-in-law Rusty Roeder, His Aunts and Uncles Greg (Debbie) Harrison and Sue (Roger) Miller, and a host of other relatives and a vast array of friends. Kevin is a 1993 graduate of Bexley High School and graduated with a BS degree from Indiana University. Kevin was a Technical Director for Nationwide with over 17 years of service. In the months before his death, with Jessica always at his side and family and friends ever near, Kevin continued to live his life to the fullest. His dignity, quiet courage and especially his smile gave comfort to everyone who knew him. In his short life, he knew more love than many people twice his age have or ever will have. An informal gathering to honor Kevin will be held 2-5PM, Saturday January 16, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road.
