
Born August 24, 1956 and died February 9, 2025.
Kim died peacefully at his home in Columbus, OH. He is predeceased by his long-time partner Nancy Fetherolf, his mother Helen (2018) and father Charles (2006). He leaves behind two sisters (Kari and Tami) and two brothers (Jim and Tim) in Colorado and many good friends in Columbus, OH. He will be sorely missed.
Kim was a huge fan of Ohio State University football and the Columbus Clippers. He held season tickets to the Clippers and would not miss a game. He was a lefty pitcher in Little League and played varsity basketball at William Fremd High School in Palatine IL. He graduated in 1972.
Kim later went on to Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL and finished with a business degree in 1976. He spent his entire employed career at Fireside Forest Industries as a lumber wholesaler.
He was devoted to his friends and had a good sense of humor. He loved his home and his cat Hayden. Kim was a gentle guy and made friends for life. His Colorado family is deeply grateful to these good people for their friendship and care.
A memorial for Kim will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Rooster's, 4650 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43228.
