Kris Lindsay Johnson, age 49, of Columbus, Went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, October 30, 2009 at his home. He was born September 28, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Jack and Dorothy “Dottie” (Shultz) Johnson, who survive him. Kris is also survived by his sister, Jill (Mark) Helber and nephews, Benjamin and Nichilas Helber; brother Greg Lindsay Johnson; aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. He was a 1979 graduate of Whetstone High School. Kris was a member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church at Mill Run and formerly a member of On My Own, Inc. He loved watching all sports, especially football and baseball. Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church at Mill Run, 3500 Mill Run Drive, where family will receive friends after 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service. Pastor Paul Ulring officiating. Interment to follow Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, Hilliard, OH 43026, in his memory.
