Lance Bradly Steele

Lance Bradly Steele, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on February 23, 2018. He was born in Hocking County, Ohio on January 28, 1977 to his parents Robert Steele and Sharon “Stump” Barnhart. Lance met the love of his life, Tabatha Ramey in 1996 and they were married on July 3rd 1999. They shared 22 wonderful years together. Lance enjoyed his work at HD Supply White Cap, as he was always a hardworking handy man. Lance held on to traditional values, and was a constant reminder that chivalry is not dead. He had the utmost respect for people, and treated everyone the way he would want to be treated. Family was the most important part of Lance’s life, his favorite moments spent with his wife and two daughters. He put others first always, and gave 100 percent into everything he put his mind to. He was an avid CB’er who went by the name “Empty Pockets.” He truly enjoyed woodworking, boating, fishing, and he loved playing in the dirt. Lance was a devoted husband, wonderful father, and an amazing friend to have. He will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Lance is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents John (Hazel) Stump; his paternal grandfather Carl Steele; his father Robert “Bobby” Steele; his younger sister Holly Cyrus; and his mother-in-law Dianne Ramey. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife Tabatha Steele; his beloved daughters Haley and Cassy Steele; his mother Sharon Barnhart; his step-father Barney Barnhart; his brothers J.J. (Amanda) Cyrus and Ernie (Tia) Cyrus; his step-sister Michele (David) Schrake; his special sister-in-law Diann “Lynn” Ramey; as well as many nieces and nephews, countless friends and family.

Visitation will be held at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home, located at 151 East Main Street Circleville, on Thursday, March 1st from 11 to 1pm. Lance’s funeral service will be held at 1pm with Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lance’s family in order to help with funeral expenses.
