

Laurel S. Graham, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 1, 2016 at home. Laurel was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 15, 1956 to E. Glen and Nancy L. (Kessler) Keyser. She graduated from Westland High School and Bowling Green State University. Laurel taught many years with the Columbus Public Schools and retired from West Broad Street Elementary School. She was an active member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and Elizabeth Chapter #56 O.E.S. She loved her son and wanted to give him the most out of life to be successful. Laurel did this by being a Boy Scout Mother and supporter of Special Olympics. Laurel was an avid reader and had passion for teaching. Preceded in death by her father, Dr. E. Glen Keyser. Survived by her son, Douglas Edward Graham; mother, Nancy L. Keyser; twin brother, Gregory (Brenda) Keyser; brothers, Kevin (Joanie) Keyser and Christopher (Fiona) Keyser; sisters, Karen (Mark) Quinn and Diane Keyser; many nieces, nephews and dear friend, Jill Smith. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 4-7 pm including an OES service at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel and one hour prior to service on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 10:30 am at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2745 W. Broad Street with Pastor Thomas Phillips officiating. Interment to follow at 3:30 pm at Oakwood Cemetery, Fremont, Ohio.
