

LaVerne A. Boehm, age 95, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009. LaVerne was born February 19, 1914 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to the late William and Lisetta Draudt. She was a resident of Bexley for many years and was also an active member of Christ Lutheran Church. LaVerne truly cherished the simpler pleasures in life, like sitting on her front porch watching everyone go by. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren also brought a wealth of joy to her life. Knitting, sewing and baking were all ways she enjoyed spending time and visiting with them. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, and great grandchildren, Kevin, Kelly, and Carolyn Brobeck. Surived by her daughter, Marcia Davison; grandchildren, David (Amy) Davison, Diane Brobeck, Deborah (Dana) Hiles, and Daryl (Gina) Davison; great grandchildren, Michael Davison, Jennifer (Justin) Demars, Daryl Davison, Jr, Brian Brobeck, Christopher Brobeck, Rebecca (Justin) Kern, Elizabeth (Chad) Durastanti, and Joseph Hiles; great great grandchildren, Jude Durastanti, Morgan Demars, and Kelley Kern; and sister, Ruth Minikel. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Monday, November 16, 2009 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where family will receive friends from 1 P.M. until time of service. Pastor Thomas Wolfe officiating. Private family burial will be held in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
