Leland Guy Polock

Leland "Lee" Polock, 59, of Columbus, passed away at Ohio Health Riverside Hospital Saturday, October 22, 2016. He was the son of Joseph and Evamae Polock. Lee was born February 22, 1957. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph and is survived by his mother and brothers Douglas (Karen) Polock and Jeffrey Polock and sister Jill (Hugh) Kerins, nieces Helen (Scott) Stricklin and Mary Kerins and nephews Hughie and Peter Kerins and many cousins. He was a Special Olympian and at different times was involved in swimming, power lifting, softball, basketball, volleyball and bowling. He retired from McDonald's at University City and worked also at ARC West for many years. Lee attended Karl Road Baptist Church. The family is grateful for the good care Lee received from the staff at Dierker Road Residential Services. To honor Lee we welcome donations to FCMR/DD Recreation Department, 2879 Johnstown Rd., Columbus, OH 43219. Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 11 AM.
