Leo Francis Woodruff

Leo F. Woodruff, age 81, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011. He was born to the late James and Jane Woodruff on November 21, 1930. Leo was a gentle soul. He was a generous and caring husband, father, and friend. He retired from DSCC after 28 years of service. In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in death by his brother, James Woodruff. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Jane F. Woodruff; children, Michael (Elizabeth) Woodruff, Paul (Michelle) Woodruff, Teresa (Matt) Richardson, and Gregory (Melissa) Woodruff; brother, Haldon Woodruff; grandchildren, Adam and Mark Woodruff, Mark (Brittany) Richardson, Margaret and Olivia Woodruff, Helen Cole, Sarah and Claire Woodruff; 3 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters-in-law, Pat Kuhn, Geri Frueh, and Stephen (Lynda) Frueh; many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at St. Matthew the Apostle Church, 807 Havens Corner Rd., Gahanna. Family will receive friends from 5pm-8pm Friday, December 16, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD.) Gahanna. Prayer service to begin at 7:30pm.
