Lewis W. Dye

“Lew” graduated from Mount Vernon Academy in 1962, the Ohio State University in 1967, and Capital University Law School in 1971. Lew was an avid fisherman and small game hunter. He played polo with the Columbus Polo Club and fox hunted with the Rocky Fork Headley Hunt Club and was a member of New Albany Country Club.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsa Colby, and brother, Timothy Dye. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Geraldine Dye; brother, Clovis Dye; children, Abby Dye and Lewis Timothy (Molly) Dye; and grandchildren, Clara and Drew.

Visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of the service at 11:30AM on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, with Chaplain Susan Kyser officiating. Interment will take place at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens in Marion, Ohio on Monday at noon.
