Lewis R. "Lew" Lynch

Lewis R. “Lew” Lynch, age 72, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 23, 2011. He was born March 20, 1939 in Natrona Heights, PA to the late Ralph and Hilda (Porter) Lynch. Lew graduated from Franklin University in 1973 with a BSBA in Industrial Management, and from Capital University in 1985 with an MBA. He was employed by Rockwell International. Lew served our country proudly in the US Navy as an Electronics Technician and was a member of American Legion Post 797. He was a 49-year member of Stonybrook United Methodist Church. Lew is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra (Lowry) Lynch; daughter, Lisa (Dave) Siegesmund; sons, Todd Lynch and Scot Lynch; grandchildren, Ashley and Eric; siblings, Ralph (Betty) Lynch, Bob Lynch, Mary Ann (Ken) Painter, and Bill (Nancy) Lynch; uncle, Clark Porter; and many nieces and nephews. Lew’s family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.) Gahanna. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Stonybrook United Methodist Church 485 Cherry Bottom Road, Gahanna. Pastor Ryan Gear officiating. Interment will follow at Mifflin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lew’s memory may be made to The American Diabetes Association 471 E.
