

Lillian Mae Kimmins, 88, of Grove City, died Sunday, November 9, 2014. She was born July 3, 1926 in Columbus to the late John and Elsie (Hopfe) Offenburger. She was a 1944 graduate of Jackson Twp. High School and a wife and mother and then an office administrator for Acme Art Glass Co., a family owned business for 50 years. She was a lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was involved in the Quilters and Beacons. Born on a farm, she loved the outdoors and along with her family belonged to the NCHA Cowboys Camping Club. She was a devoted, loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Lee Kimmins, Sr. and her first child Cheryl Lee at birth. She is survived by children Kenneth Lee Jr. (Donna), Connie (Kimmins) Perry and Roy (Stephanie), grandchildren Jamie, Nikki, Tanice, Scott (Jocelyn) and Danielle, great grandchildren Avery, Brianna and Amayah, sister Marion Schilling and brother Paul (Andrea) Offenburger. Family will receive friends Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 4-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 11 AM at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St., Grove City. Interment will follow in Grove City Cemetery.
