Linda M. Christie

Linda M. Christie, age 68, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018. She was born on January 18, 1950 in Beverly, Ohio. Linda graduated from Fort Frye High School in Beverly, Ohio. In 1972, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Ohio State University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University in 1977. Linda's passions included teaching, reading, dancing, and math. She treasured her children. She spent her life teaching, loving and raising her 3 kids. Linda enjoyed antiquing, reading, and being involved in book club. With her family and friends, she loved to travel, eat and spend time. Linda will be greatly missed by her husband of 46 years, John S. Christie; children, Robert Morgan (Erica) Christie, Lindsey Taylor (Tyler) Burt, and Sara Jo (Norm) Harbison; grandchildren, Carsen Jane and Joshua Cole Christie, Hazel Jo, John Harpham and Molly Margaret Burt, and Austin James Harbison; mother, Sara Prater; and brother, Rick Prater. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Prater and her brother Rex Prater. Family will receive friends 5:30-7:30 PM on Friday, September 21, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Upper Arlington, Ohio 43221.
