

Linda Lee Kinsey passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 14, 2025. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on July 2, 1955.
Linda was a registered nurse for over 20 years, known for being a kindhearted caregiver and a fierce advocate for her patients. Much of her career was spent caring for residents in long-term care.
One of her most beloved roles was serving as the nurse at the “Boo-boo Station” at Summer Institute, which is how she came to be known as “Boo-boo” to her grandchildren.
Her soul and laugh were unforgettable.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dr. David Kinsey; mother, Nan (Ware) Baldwin; stepfather, Tom Baldwin; and sister, Beth Kinsey.
She is survived by her loving family: husband Fred Schussler; daughters Halley Cooper-Shumway (Chad) and Kara Cooper (James); stepchildren, Ben (Jess), Andy (Katrina), Caleb (Amber), Tim, Jake, Charlie, and Rachel Schussler; and grandchildren, Cory, Brianna, Ryan, Atticus, Ayla, Everett, Jakob, Logan, Emma, AJ and Owen.
Her family will receive friends Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00PM to 5:00PM at Schoedinger Northwest, 1740 Zollinger Rd in Upper Arlington, followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00PM. Family friend, Reverend Rebekah Benner, will be conducting services.
