Linda Sue Lowe

Linda Sue Lowe, age 71, of Gahanna, Ohio passed away April 9, 2017 at Grant Hospital. Linda was born April 21, 1945 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Ralph "Pete" and Betty Sites. She was a longtime member of Gahanna Free Will Baptist where she served on the Ladies Auxiliary. She previously worked at Anthony Thomas and was passionate about her family and the Lord, and enjoyed thrift store shopping. Known to most as "mom" she spent a lot of time caring for children. Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harry "Buddy" Lowe; children Tamara "Tami" (Paul) Hawkins, Stephen (Angel) Lowe and Angela Lowe; grandchildren, Brian McElvain, Heather (Josh) Blake, Zechariah (Brooke) Hawkins, Jessica Hawkins and Dakoda Hainley; great-grandchildren, Skylar, Hayden, Riley and Nevaeh; brothers and sisters-in-law: Linda (John) Wood, Gladys (Ron) Watson, George (June) Lowe, Donnie Johnson, Terry (Crystal) Lowe, Vickie (Tim) Mayle and Hank Harrison; numerous nieces and nephews; beloved dogs, Sammie, Oreo and Layla. Visitation will be held 5-8pm Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, where service will be held at 1pm Friday; interment to follow at Mifflin Cemetery; Pastor Curtis Booth, officiating.
