Linda E. Paxton

Linda Evelyn Paxton, age 73, of Upper Arlington, went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2022. Born October 23, 1948, to the late Betty J. Irvin in Akron, Ohio. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Robert Paxton II (Bob) and her four children, Robert Paxton III, Michael (Mary Kate Francis) Paxton, Vincent (Jill Gudenkauf) Paxton, Maria (Craig Petty) Paxton; eight grandchildren, Finnigan, Sullivan, Taylor, Benjamin, Vincent, Violet, Xavier, and Cecelia all of Upper Arlington and extended family across the country. Linda began her career at Shafer Distributing but dedicated most her life to the care of others raising her four children alongside Bob and eventually providing the same love and care for the children of family and friends in her home or theirs. She was an avid bird watcher who loved all animals, most recently her cat, Lucy, and her comfort dog, Murphy. Linda was also a huge football fan saying recently like the wise woman she was, “football is starting and all is right in the world”.

Linda faced all of life’s moments with a positive attitude and a smile never wavering in her undying attention to those she loved. She made every person she encountered feel her unconditional love.

Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 1559 Roxbury Rd, Columbus, OH 43212.
