Lisa Lynn Oldham, 60, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2021. She was born to Franklin T. and Marilyn V. (Young) Oldham on November 3, 1960 in Columbus, OH. After graduating from Gahanna Lincoln high school, she worked in administrative positions, culminating with her 27-year career with AEP as a Senior IT Administrator. Lisa was very proud of this.
Lisa was a private person but was an avid blogger and aspiring writer, making sure no one would forget the legacies left behind for us by Western Heroes and the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Lisa was a lifelong collector of Breyer Horses. She was actively collecting and participating in events up to the time of her passing.
She loved family time and especially loved time with her faithful furry companions, Wiley and Molly (who also preceded her in death). She was raised on Saturday morning cartoons and she never forgot this. She spent many hours enjoying vintage animation such as Looney Toons and Rocky and Bullwinkle with her family. She also enjoyed many classic movies and actors and actresses. She liked being outdoors and tending her garden when the weather was warm enough.
She will be remembered as a giving person. She gave of herself tirelessly, often forgetting to stop and take care of herself. Lisa was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Gahanna and attended services every Sunday in whichever form they took either in person or remotely.
Lisa is preceded in passing by her parents, Frank and Marilyn; sister Linda Sue Benton; and brother Jeffrey Leigh
Left to cherish her memory are her brother Greg; her sister Robin Martin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will take place at First Baptist Church of Gahanna, 520 Havens Corners Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230 on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 12pm. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
