Lois E. Duey

Lois E. Duey, age 92, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 19, 2022 surrounded by her family. Lois was born on February 24, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio to Edison and Marian W. Bower. Lois retired in 1997 from Chemical Abstracts Service as a Data Processor. She was a lifelong member of Hoge Memorial Presbyterian Church. Along with enjoying being with her family, Lois was also an avid Buckeye fan, roller skating mom and loved being in the kitchen baking. Preceded in death by parents, Edison and Marian Bower; former husband and father to her children, Glenn Duey. Survived by her children, Diana (Mike) Purcell, Linda Duey (Danny), Janice (Gary) Bridger and Glenn (Diane) Duey; grandchildren, Chris Harris (Abbey), Michelle (Robbie) Purcell, Jennifer Duey, Bryan (Heather) Duey, Matthew (Samantha) Bridger, Michael (Jennifer) Purcell, Sonja Purcell, Charlene (Aaron) Johnson; great grandchildren,Kayli, Gabriella, Mackenzie, Cameron, Ella, Mason, Jaelynn, Parker, Cory, Mike Jr., Ashley, Brittany, Kailha; and great great grandchildren, Landon, Lailah and Lailani; many extended relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tom Billman officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hoge Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2930 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204 in her memory.
