

Lois Jean "Snip" Robbins, age 93, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2014 at Abbington of Powell. Snip was born March 30, 1921 in De Graff, Ohio to the late Charles Franklin and Mable (Dilts) Moore and was a 1939 graduate of De Graff High School. Following graduation from Bliss College, she worked alongside her husband at Western Press and later retired from the City of Columbus Health Department. Snip was a 65 year member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Robbins; son Thomas Charles Robbins and siblings, Gerald Moore, Helen Wilson, Fred Moore, Frances "Peanie" Davidson and Charles "Bill" Moore. She is survived by her children, Richard (Polly) Robbins, Robert (Karen) Robbins, Merrily (Michael) Wholf and Shelley Robbins; grandchildren, Robert, Ronald, Andrew, Cheryl, Donald, Sue, Sandra and Tracy; 14 great-grandchildren; extended family and friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8pm Friday, December 12, 2014 at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204. A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2480 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204; Pastor Tim Lee, officiating.
