Lola Marie McDermott, age 83 of Marysville, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Lola was born in Abbs Valley, Virginia on September 29, 1929, the daughter of Lily (Cornwell) and John Henry Williams. She retired from Riverside Methodist Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse where she spent her life helping others and always putting their needs before hers. Along with her parents, Lola is preceded in death by her husbands Robert Fulton and James McDermott; brothers Aaron and Arthur Williams; sisters Mildred Bostic and Cara Bostic and daughter Karla Gale. Lola is survived by her sons David G. (Beth) Fulton of Marysville and John (Lisa) Fulton of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren Aaron, Matthew, Timothy, Nathan and Lauren Fulton; brothers Wiley, Roy and Freeman Williams of Abbs Valley; sisters Fannie Thompson of Abbs Valley and Gladys Funk of Townsend, DE.
