Louis A. Hernandez

Louis was born on August 26, 1943 in New York City to the late Louis and Carmen (Baragano) Hernandez. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gladys.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife and companion of over 50 years, Roberta (Diaz) Hernandez; daughters Erika (Jean-Paul) Luc and Jennifer (Jason) Medina; his granddaughters Gabrielle, Alexa, Ava, Addison, and Avery; siblings Carmen, Manuel, Miguel, Jose, Ana, Carlos, and Luis; as well as numerous other family and friends.

Louis spent the majority of his life in New York City, where he worked as a commercial artist and art director. He loved the Mets and he loved to dance, particularly Salsa. Louis met Roberta while dancing in 1968 and they have been together ever since. When his daughters moved to Ohio, Louis and Roberta followed to be near them and their granddaughters.

The family will have a visitation from 4-6PM with a funeral service at 6PM on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna.
