She enjoyed traveling far and wide with her pilot-wise husband, entertaining in their lovely home, and spending summer times on Lake Huron at the Williams's family Drummond Island retreat. She said "The pleasures of being a successful wife, doctor and researcher were always secondary to my pleasure of being a mother. God gives us the miracle of making new human lives and the blessings of being able to help grow and to enjoy seeing them become great people. I've had a truly blessed, wonderful life."
