Then continued her career as a staff nurse in the medical/surgical unit at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Indiana and then on to Virginia. After this she took time to begin a family. She then resumed her nursing career as the unit manager for Harding Hospital Adolescent Psychiatric Unit in Worthington, Ohio for close to 21 years as a CNS in adolescent psychiatry. She loved cats, crafting, teaching Sunday Bible School, enjoyed music and traveling. Her favorite trip was to Edinburgh, Scotland to study Psychiatric Care in the Socialist Health System. She fell in love with the land and people there too. Kathleen was a passionate person and loved being a nurse and healing all throughout her career. This passion and love extended to all who knew her. She counseled many friends and family members with a loving heart and no judgement. Just lending her generous heart, love, soul and kindness to all.
She was a true friend to all and the best mom anyone could ask for.
