

Maggie Annabelle Butler, age 75, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011. She was born in Sandyville, W.Va., on February 7, 1936, to the late James O. and Flonnie J. Spears, and was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin O. Butler; brothers, Doyle, William “Ott”, Timmy, and Richard Spears; and sisters, Betty Spears and Vesta Murphy. She is survived by her children, Bambi (Mike) Griffin of Amarillo, TX, Bryan (Lori) Butler of Marysville, OH, and Warren (Laura) Butler of Sunbury, OH; step-sons, Craig (Kristen) Butler of Alpharetta, GA, and Kevin Butler of Currumbin, Australia; siblings, Blondena Fisher, Lee (Sue) Spears, Dale (Joy) Spears, Nolan (Carol) Spears, Wayne (Bobbi) Spears, and Janet (Don) Brooks; grandchildren, Brandon Griffin of Havelock, NC, AnnaMarie Beckett and Andrea Wright of Broken Arrow, OK, Jared, Jordan, Abby, Hannah, and Rebekah Butler of Marysville, Evan Jay Butler of Sunbury, Dustin Butler and Brooke Connor of Colorado, Chase and Chloe Butler of Australia; John, Emily Claire and Katie. great grandchildren, Summer, Baylor, Christopher, Anna and Gabriel of Amarillo, TX, Dyllon, Declan, and Lynnsey of Broken Arrow, OK, and Jett and Chase Connor of Colorado; as well as many extended family members and friends. Anne loved spending time with her family, as well as gardening, reading, cooking, and walking. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Northwest Chapel, 6700 Rings Road, Dublin, with Pastor Rob Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
