

Margaret Gayle Chambers, age 91, died on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Shewas born on February 02, 1930 in Lafayette, Ohio. Born to the late Donovan G. Anspach and Goldie Ruth (Binkley), the youngest of five children. Retired from the Ohio State University Hospitals (Dept of Medicine Cardiology) after 27 years. Lived in Upper Arlington and later “The Forum”.
A graduate of Ottawa Public High School, Ottawa, Ohio and as a medical secretary for Elkhart University, Elkhart, Indiana.
Preceded in death by husband, Ellis. O. Chambers; parents; brothers, Donovan Anspach Jr. and James E.; sisters, Ruth L. Aultman and Imogene Anspach.
Survived by loving daughter, Connie C. (John Bucuvalas) and Jamie J. (Steve Garcia). She loved her family first and foremost. Cherished grandchildren, Abigail (David Tarnowski) and Zachary Bucuvalas and Stacy Garcia; and 3 great grandchildren. She was their “Mimi”.
She is survived by sisters-in-law, Jean Anspach and Joan Anspach; and brother-in-law, Jerry Chambers. Many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Margaret was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Lorraine Chapter #1,0E8, a past worthy matron TOES. A member of O8NRA, WOLW at Trinity. She served on various committees at Trinity and a greeter at the 11 o’clock service.
She was a 10 year volunteer at the Arthur James Cancer Hospital In the “Look Good Feel Better” program for the ladies who are cancer survivors. She loved music, art, reading and her dear friends.
Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Inurnment at Memorial Oak Cemetery, Lima Ohio. The family requests in lieu of flower, donation be made to the youth at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1581 Cambridge Blvd, Columbus, Ohio, 43212.
