Margaret Ann “Maggie” Cox Havens, age 84, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was born in Athens, Ohio on August 9, 1928 to the late Arthur R. and Dorothea (nee Andrews) Sprague. Maggie worked for Lazarus and later owned her own dress shop, Maggie’s in Worthington Square. After retirement she enjoyed writing beautiful poetry. She was a member of Broad Street Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin Cox; second husband, Richard Havens; and daughter, Leslie Jean Cox Herbst. She is survived by her sister, Jeny (David) Reynolds; step-son, Jamie Havens; step-daughter, Vicki (Ron) Scott; and grandsons, Jeffrey (Kathy) Herbst and James Herbst; and many nieces and nephews. All services will be held privately. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
