Margaret Marie "Peggy" Valentine

Margaret Marie “Peggy” Valentine, age 83, of Reynoldsburg, died on Friday, December 16, 2011, at Mount Carmel East. Graduate of Bexley High School and attendee of Ohio University and The Ohio State University. Received Certified Professional Secretary Designation, and retired as an executive secretary from Nationwide Insurance (Gates, McDonald) after 41+ years of service. Member of Christ United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and Dorcas Circle. Preceded in death by mother and father, Georgia (Nessley) and Erastus Valentine; half-sister, Marjorie Morrison; aunts, Mary Fink and Eleanor Main; uncles, Edward, Stephen, Richard, and Robert Nessley, and Jack Main. Peggy was a devoted Christian who cherished her family and friends like they were her own. She left a legacy of quiet faith and an amazing example of love to those who survive her: uncle, David Nessley, Sr.; many cousins; and countless friends. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, with visitation from 12 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
