Marilyn June Bowers, 91, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Brown Memorial Home. She was born June 24, 1926 in Amanda, Ohio to the late Charles and Glenna (Runkle) Winter. Marilyn was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and involved in Eastern Star and The Pickaway County Democratic Party. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gary Jacob Bowers; brother, William Winter and daughter-in-law Tammy (Davis) Bowers. She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Rojer Bowers; children, Charles Rojer Bowers, Timothy Lee (Marilyn) Bowers, Brent Fischer Bowers and Rojanne (Christopher) Woodward; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 4-7 PM at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger 151 E. Main Street Circleville, Ohio 43113 where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, December 29, 2017. Interment to follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Good Samaritan Fund.
