

Marilyn Marie Finneran, age 92, of Columbus, Ohio, peacefully joined her loving family members in heaven on January 24, 2022. She was born on February 3, 1929 to Clarence and Florentine Eyerman in Columbus, Ohio.
Marilyn was a 1947 graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Columbus, Ohio. Until recently, she continued to meet regularly with St. Joseph Academy classmates and lifelong friends. Marilyn was a devout Catholic with such love of God. She was a founding member of St. Anthony Catholic Church where she also served as an adopted grandparent and Eucharistic Minister for years sharing Christ with Catholics at Villa Angela Rehabilitation Center which she enjoyed so much. She was active in the Cum Christo community. Marilyn dedicated most of her life giving back to others. She volunteered at Riverside Methodist Hospital for 23 years and gave her time to Holy Family Soup Kitchen for many years. She was a member of Saint Elizabeth Auxiliary #3, the Heritage Group, and St. Claire Circle.
She is survived by her loving son Michael (Sidney) Finneran and devoted daughter Tina Reichley, daughter-in-law Lisa Finneran, Tami (Keith) Talbot, 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Nancy Finneran, brother-in-law Jim Finneran, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband Louis Finneran, her daughters Chrissy and Cathy, her son Patrick, sister Lorita (Don) Gesick, brother Clarence “Red” (Martha) Eyerman, and brother-in-law Bob Finneran.
Marilyn’s family would like to deeply thank the dedicated staff of Visiting Angels of Westerville and Sharon Crowley for enabling her to stay in her home and Capital City Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43229.
Family will welcome friends from 4-7PM on Friday January 28, 2022 at SCHOEDINER NORTH, 5554 Karl Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 29, at 10 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Drive. Marilyn will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery beside her husband, daughter, and parents.
