Marilyn K. Halasi, 73, of Westerville, Ohio passed away December 17, 2018. She was born February 6, 1945 in East Brady, PA to the late Wilders and Kathryn (Bailey) Verner; also preceded in death by her husband, Steve L. Halasi Jr. in 2014. Marilyn is survived by her son Jeff (Karen) Halasi; daughter Sherry (Buzz) Stryker; grandchildren Jordan, Ryan and Alex Halasi and Isabella, Brooke and Nicole Stryker; sisters Nancy McCandless and Gail (Neil) O'Donnell; brothers John (Alicia) Verner and Mark Verner; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. As a young lady, Marilyn worked as a fashion model, and throughout her life, served in many clerical roles in banking and real estate. She also enjoyed trips to the Carolina beaches. A memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where friends will gather from 10-11am.
