

Marilyn Brown Kellough, 86, died peacefully at her earthly home on February 10, 2016, surrounded by family members. Her new address is Heaven. The daughter of Mary Ruth Davis Brown and Wayne E. Brown, Marilyn is survived by her husband of 64 years, Stephen Kellough, children - Debbie Sayre (Jerry), Elizabeth Kellough (Tim Voss) and Steve W. Kellough, grandchildren - Allison Paugh (Jeff) and Emily Boyles (Cory), and great-granddaughter, Ella Paugh. Marilyn was born in Detroit, MI, graduated from Upper Arlington High School, attended Monticello College and The Ohio State University where she became a Delta Gamma. Marilyn loved entertaining her family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling, taking photos, writing letters, reading, playing the organ, sketching, knitting, sewing, arts & crafts and very quietly doing good deeds. She was loving, kind, gentle, thoughtful, witty and always a lady, who cared deeply for her family and many dear friends. She worked briefly in the Big Bear Stores office and was a long-time member of First Community Church where she was a member of Guild X, a Couples Circle and the First Community Foundation Board of Trustees. She volunteered for her church, her children’s schools, Children’s Hospital, Childhood League, Buckeye Boys Ranch, and was a founding member of the Catherine Black Cancer Ray. Marilyn will be missed by many; but we rejoice that she is with Jesus! Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 17, 6-8 pm at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, OH 43221. Her funeral will be lead by Rev. James Long on Friday, February 19, 11:00 a.m. at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus, OH 43212. Immediately following the service there will be a lunch reception at the church. Marilyn’s immediate family will attend her burial at Green Lawn Cemetery.
