

Marilyn J. Mancini, nee Knierim, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away December 23, 2018 at Kobacker House. Born November 19, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Henry B. and Ruth H. (Buelow-Thiele) Knierim.
Growing up Marilyn was raised in the Lutheran faith, she was a classically trained pianist and music brought great joy to her life, she retired from Riverside Hospital where she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she was an avid quilter, and a fan of the OSU Buckeyes.
Devoted wife of Richard A. Mancini (deceased), Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by her children, Susan Burkholder, Nancy Ashton (Clare), Cynthia Mancini, Stephen Mancini, Joyce Francis, Ruth Bissel, Mary Ellen Little (Michael), John Mancini (Shannon), Henry Mancini (Emily), Robert Mancini (Laurie), her 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, her brother Rich (Karen), and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister Carole Stevens.
The family will receive friends from 4 - 7pm Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am Friday, December 28, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 East North Broadway. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
