Marion Max Cannon

Marion Max Cannon, age 86, of Grove City passed away on April 7, 2016 at his home. Marion was born on October 20, 1929 in Glouster, OH to the late Dow Henry and Clare Mae (Sawyer) Cannon. Along with parents Marion is preceded in death by wife Gertraude Zetzmann of 53 years; 3 brothers and 4 Sisters, He is survived by children Elizabeth (Frank Caldararo) of Commack, New York, Robert (Darla) Cannon of Santa Barbara, California, William of Columbus, Ohio, and Penny (William Anthony) of Upper Arlington; 7 Grand Children; and 6 Great Grand Children. Marion was a 1948 graduate of West HS and served in the US Air Force. He retired from the US Post Office. Member of the Grove City Senior center and he played softball until last year. Marion enjoyed bowling at AMF Stardust lanes in Grove City and bowled until just 2 days before he passed. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 1:00pm at Sunset Cemetery Chapel, 6959 W. Broad Street, Galloway, OH.
