

Marissa "Missy" Debra Babbitt (Pysher), age 36, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on December 7, 2020. She was born on January 18, 1984 in Columbus to Victor E. Pysher, Jr. and the late LuAnn Marlow Pysher.
Missy graduated from Franklin Heights High School in 2002. Missy was an avid music lover, and enjoyed attending live concerts. She was passionate about the films of Tim Burton; her absolute favorite was The Nightmare Before Christmas. Missy loved makeup and doing home manicures. She had an adventurous spirit and loved thrill rides; she visited amusement parks every year. Her favorite holiday was the Fourth of July because of her love of cookouts and fireworks. She had recently taken up cross-stitching and crocheting. Missy's bubbly personality and bright smile will be forever missed.
Missy was preceded in death by her mother, LuAnn Marlow Pysher; paternal grandfather, Victor E. Pysher Sr.; and maternal grandmother Dolores Kiley Marlow.
Missy will be greatly missed by her husband, Alex Babbitt; father, Victor E. Pysher, Jr. (Laura Anderson); grandmother, Martha Pysher; siblings, Stacie (Shane) Puchovich, Shawna (Gabe) Shultz, Kyle (Rex) Pysher, Tyler Pysher, and Victoria Pysher; father and mother-in law, Mike and Sue Babbitt; nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Henry, Charlie, and Tobias; her best friend, Ashlie Myers; her extended family, Patty Brandenburg-Resch (Gene); numerous cousins and extended family; and her dogs, Shredder and Maiden.
Family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Heart and Hope by Schoedinger- Hilltop Location, 3030 W. Broad Columbus, Ohio 43204. Due to COVID-19, masks and proper social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium at https://give.columbuszoo.org/commemorative-gifts Visiting this Columbus landmark was one of her favorite places to spend time with family. Think of her as you pass through the Red Panda exhibit.
