Marjorie Louise Lackey

Marjorie Louise (Campbell) Lackey, age 84 went home to the Lord Sunday December 20, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo W. Lackey and her parents Edward and Elsie Campbell. She is survived by her children Christine (Ray) Draghi, Bruce (Debbie) Lackey, David Lackey, Leo (Kathleen) Lackey, Mark (Laura) Lackey, and Patricia Lackey (Carol Chivington); 11 grandchildren, Michael (Robin) and Mary Ann Draghi, Jonathan, Stephanie, Vincent, Katherine, Ryan, Stephen, Zachary, Olivia, and Andrea Lackey; and 2 great grandchildren, Bradley and Alyssa Draghi. Marjorie was born and raised in Columbus, and worked in the accounting department of F. & R. Lazarus Department Store. In addition to raising her six children, she was instrumental in supporting her husband’s ambition to start and grow the family businesses, Happy Chicken Farms and Merry Milk Maid, and remained the family matriarch by serving as Chairwoman Emeritus. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. Friends may call upon the family at The Schoedinger Funeral Home Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street, in Worthington, Tuesday, December 22 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of Peace Church, 20 East Dominion St at N. High Street on Wednesday December 23, 2009, with final internent at St. Joseph Cemetery S. High Street.
