Mark Lee Hughes

Mark Lee Hughes, 56, died unexpectedly Thursday October 4, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, OH. Mark was born June 11, 1956 to Gurard and Gloria Hughes of Mansfield, OH. He worked for Bob Sumerel Tire Co. in Columbus, OH and was a bowling coach for Grove City Area Special Olympics. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Sheila Wagner Hughes; mother, Gloria Hughes; son, Matthew Hughes; daughter, Sarah Hughes; grandsons, Anthony, Riley, Gavin, and Matthew II; sister, Lori Morris and life partner, Kathy Woolever; nieces, Maggie and Hannah Morris; nephew, Luke McDevitt. Friends may call at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway from 5-8pm on Monday October 8, 2012. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 9, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 3730 Broadway, Grove City at 10:30 am with Father Dan Millisor, Celebrant. Burial will be at a later date in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery in Mansfield, OH after a memorial for family and friends at St. Peter’s Catholic Church where he was baptized and attended. Donations can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
