Mark Sabo

Mark L. Sabo, age 29, passed away November 16, 2019. The son of John and Tracy Sabo, Mark was born October 7, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated in 2009 from Olentangy High School. He attended Columbus State and completed a five-year apprenticeship with Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 189 where he was a foreman pipefitter/welder.

Mark was laid back and relaxed but once he put his mind to something there was no stopping him. Whether it was fishing, dirt biking, raising 4H dairy feeders, wrestling, or welding, he gave it his all. His determination led him to competing at the state level in dirt biking and wrestling, placing in both. Methodical and hardworking, Mark took pride in earning many welding certifications

Mark always had a smile. He was thoughtful and respectful of everyone he met. He was soft-hearted towards people and animals.

Words can't really express how greatly Mark will be missed by his parents John and Tracy, maternal grandparents Cecil and Carol Lewis, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Nick and Ernestine Sabo and his cousin Michael Mudgett.

Friends will be received at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street, Worthington on Sunday, November 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm where funeral services will be held Monday 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery
