Martha Walker Fisher

Martha Walker Fisher, 82, passed away April 2, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 2008. Daughter of William and Flora of Upper Arlington, Ohio. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children Greg (Jo Ann), Matt (Lisa), and Gayle (Tom) Mulvey. Marty graduated from Upper Arlington High School in 1948 and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1952. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Women's Fraternity, Buckeye Lake Yacht Club and Hoover Sailing Club. She is past president of the Buckeye Lake Auxiliary. Marty adored her 9 grandchildren: Martha, Kurt (Brandi), Bessie, and Addy Fisher; Amanda and Stuart Fisher; Kara, Gwen, and Ian Mulvey; 3 great grandchildren: Quinton, Owen, and Charlie. The children relished her role as their best friend and "Maugie" and Marty loved being with each of them from birth to present. More recently she enjoyed her wonderful friends at Feridean Commons. Marty will be missed by all of her many friends who loved her for her independence and sharp sense of humor. Friends may call from 5-8 pm on Thursday, April 4th at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road Upper Arlington.
