Martha Ortlieb

Martha S. Ortlieb, age 93, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018. She was born to the late Phillip and Rose Hohman in Caldwell, OH. In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Ortlieb; daughter, Mary Bennett; brothers, Walter, Bernard, Harold, and Elmer; and sisters, Clara, Helen, and Marcella. Martha is survived by her children, Charles (Helen) Ortlieb, Patricia (Michael) Mealer, Barbara (Larry) DeFrank, and James (Cheryl) Ortlieb; grandchildren, Deryck, Aaron, Adam, Katherine, Patrick, John, Andrew, Alex, Phillip, Stephanie, and Christopher; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Will, Henry, Gianna Sophie, Amelia, Caleb, JD, Olivia, Matthew, Emelia, Luke, Meg, Mariella, James, Charlie, and Michael. The family extends their thanks to the nurses and staff at both Feridean Commons Assisted Living and Mother Angeline McCrory Manor for the wonderful care given to Mom. Family will receive friends from 4-7 pm on Monday, August 13, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Dr., Columbus, OH 43229. Father Petry, celebrant. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery to follow in procession. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Anthony Parish School, 1300 Urban Dr., Columbus, OH 43229.
