Mary Ann Dennis

Mary Ann Dennis, age 81, of Columbus, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Licking Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born August 24, 1935 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Robert L. Crawford and Mary Elizabeth (Bellomy) Crawford. Mary was a graduate of Monroeville (OH) High School. She was a housekeeper for several central Ohio motels and went above and beyond doing the laundry for many long-term stay residents. She is survived by her brother and sisters, Robert L. Crawford, Jr., Joyce Hartwell and Barbara Woodall; many nieces, nephews and their families and many friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Babbert Held and her stepmother, Elsie Agnes Crawford. Mary loved to bowl as evidenced by her bowling Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at Sequoia Lanes for the past 40 years until a few months ago. Mary loved animals especially her seven cats who kept her company. Per Mary's request, there will be no services.
