Mary Ann DiPaolo

Mary A. DiPaolo, 78, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 12, 2015. She was born November 11, 1936 in Grayson, Kentucky to the late Raymond and Katherine Hamilton. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. Mary's Christian faith was very important to her and she enjoyed reading her Bible. She was a member of The Connection Church. She had a great sense of humor and was very humble. She loved to feed the birds and squirrels, go on walks, cook large Italian meals, and spend time gardening. She also enjoyed singing in her church's choir and volunteering at Esther's Place. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Lorita Hamilton and Robert Hamilton. Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, Giovanni DiPaolo; children, Frank (Diana) DiPaolo and Carla (David) Stacy; grandchildren, Kurt DiPaolo and Isabella Arianna Stacy; brother, Raymond "Tootie" (Phyllis) Hamilton, Jr.; and many other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday, January 16, 2015 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where funeral service will be held 1:30 PM Saturday. Interment Kingwood Memorial Park.
