Mary Kate Graham

Mary K. Graham, 82, of Mt. Gilead, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015. She was born November 1, 1932 in Saltville, VA to the late Floyd Hurt and Elizabeth Lee (Call) Puckett. She was a graduate of Gary High School and was a retired computer programmer for Motorists Insurance. She was a member of New Testament Missionary Baptist Church. Even through her illness she was a contributing member to her church until the very end. Mary enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing and knitting and won Best of Show for her knitting at the Ohio State Fair. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Grover Cleveland Graham, children Cynthia Graham and Phillip Graham and siblings Helen, Barbara and Tom. She is survived by siblings Anna, Riley, Chris, Nan and Sally, 7 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, family friends Doris Stevens and Rodney Herald. Family will receive friends Friday, May 15, 2015 from 12 PM until time of service at 1 PM at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 E. State St. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank fellow church members who visited and prayed with Mary and Morrow County Hospice for their care. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Morrow County Hospice or New Testament Missionary Baptist Church.
